Solar PV is a renewable energy system which uses photovoltaic cells on the roof to convert light into electricity.

The direct current (DC) created passes through an invertor which changes it to usable alternating current (AC).

This energy can be used to power your everyday appliances. Any excess energy created can be sold back to the national grid. Please contact your regular supplier for details on how that is achieved.
